Content Creator Trio

Watcher Entertainment is a new digital-video venture from Steven Lim, Ryan Bergara and Shane Madej (of Buzzfeed creator fame). Their hilarious and binge-able hit shows like Worth IT and Unsolved Mysteries turned the trio into YT celebrities. The BuzzFeed shows they launched, produced and starred in — “Worth It,” “Unsolved,” as well as “Ruining History” — have a combined 2 billion views to date, representing 15 billion minutes of watch time. Along the way, Lim, Bergara and Madej have each amassed hundreds of thousands of followers on social media.

They recently left BuzzFeed on friendly terms to found L.A.-based Watcher Entertainment. The digital studio startup is producing original unscripted content, which debuted in January 2020 on YouTube. The lineup includes “Homemade,” in which Steven Lim learns how to make the best version of a dish at a restaurant and then sees how that stacks up to a beloved homemade recipe, “Watcher Weekly,” where Steven, Ryan, and Shane kick back for a casual conversation about the week and answer viewer questions (with the occasional musical guest), “Puppet History,” in which a puppet host walks through history’s wildest tales as two guests compete for the title of history master, “Tourist Trapped,” “Weird Wonderful World,” “Top 5 Beatdown,” and “Grocery Run.”
