“Awarded the Navy Commendation Medal in 2001 for selfless action at the Pentagon on 9/11, Tim Chambers has spent the last 13 years expanding the definition of Warrior beyond the brave who serve in our military. Tim believes that America honors the courage, pride, and ownership forged among individual citizens who stand up to tyranny and who fight for freedom. Tim utilizes the Marine Corp values of honor, courage, and commitment and the common sense and resourcefulness learned on his grandfather’s farm while growing up.

Founder of the nonprofit, Leave No Warrior Behind, Tim seeks to strengthen the bond among Americans through the spirit of volunteerism by bringing Americans together to improve the quality of life for our youth, our less fortunate, and our Heroic Veterans. America’s self-appointed mascot reinforces patriotism by reminding us of the cost of our freedom, security, and safety; consoles families who have lost loved ones; encourages our teachers to cultivate in their students ownership in our country; and inspires our youth to exercise their American rights by furthering their education to the ultimate end of preserving and maximizing life.

Author of Salute! The Memoirs of Tim Chambers, The Saluting Marine to be released in the summer of 2014, Tim is recipient of numerous awards, including The C. Haskell Small Award for Volunteerism (2002), The National Military Family Association “Very Important Patriot” Award (2003) as well as receiving and accepting an invitation to the White House in 2008 to have breakfast with President Bush.
