Spencer Pratt was born on August 14, 1983. Pratt is an American reality television personality known for his role as the villain in MTV’s The Hills. He is currently dating Hills co-star Heidi Montag, and is the older brother of Stephanie Pratt, who also appears on The Hills.

He attended Crossroads High School in Santa Monica, California. Pratt was also in the short-lived series The Princes of Malibu with Brody Jenner, along with Brody’s brother, Brandon.

On August 16, 2007, Ryan Seacrest premiered Heidi Montag’s song, “Body Language”, featuring Pratt rapping, on KIIS-FM radio show. Both Montag and Pratt denied the song was her intended first single with Pratt telling US Weekly that the tune “was a song Heidi and I were doing for fun. Never would I rap on her first single!”

On June 14, 2008, Pratt appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman, where Letterman was openly derisive towards Pratt. The interview centered around what Pratt actually does and poked fun at his lack of fame. Near the end of the interview, Montag appeared onstage and told Letterman that Pratt “is the man”, to which Letterman responded “Uh, for what?”. Despite the onslaught of mockery from Letterman, Spencer continued with the interview joking about his well known contempt for his fellow Hills star Lauren Conrad.

Pratt and Montag eloped on November 20, 2008 to Mexico, although it was later determined that the marriage was not recognized by U.S. authorities.
