“Sex, Love, And Other Stuff” is the new Cabaret-style choreopoem by James Chapmyn that moves us away from lap dances and pimp idolization, to dialogue and renewal by deconstructing historic and current cultures of sex that have penalized and hypnotized too many, for so long. Through the photographic eye of famed photographer Saddi, we experience images that take us back to the very beginning of time to introduce us to the very nature of love as the purpose for life.

Through the poetic rhythms of Chapmyn’s poetry, humor and drama, you will witness first-hand the stories of love and experience the common struggle for meaning that baffles every mind and breaks youthful hearts. You will dance to music that spans the history of Gospel Blues, Jazz, and R&B. You will celebrate the true energy that the soft whispers of love generate in the inner most parts of each of us.

This one-hour program is a perfect choice for a light, romantic evening that managed to offer vital lessons in diversity. We define love and beauty in relevant terms. We celebrate sex in context. We hold ourselves accountable for our beliefs and behaviors. This beautiful presentation will remind us that we are teachers and mentors with a duty to make these things real important and worth special attention to our children. Together we will dance and sing of a love eternal never poisoned by lust for what never really was in the first place. This is no ordinary evening.
