Paul Hughes is an internationally renown speaker with over 12 years of experience in over 35 countries. The unique quality of Paul Hughes’s performance is his ‘how’: Paul Hughes draws as he speaks along ten meters of paper. This unique visual verbal experience, where audiences are captivated by the revealing of stories along ten meters of paper, he calls Ten Meters of Thinking. Ten Meters of Thinking is not a speech. Ten Meters of Thinking is a performance.

Ten Meters of Thinking is designed to create individual and organizational transformation. In our interconnected world transformation is needed as we are now facing global challenges never faced before. Paul believes that these challenges are in essence design challenges and we can only feel empowered to address them once we embrace transformation and realize that the past is there for us to analyze, however the future is not and remains for us to design. ‘Design’, Paul says, ‘is now the difference that makes the difference’. Paul Hughes believes that success is not a point, success is a path. Along that path, Ten Meters of Thinking offers timeless stories, to be applied to timely contexts. By revealing stories, new visions and new narratives are created for us to live by.

For over a decade, Paul has spoken to thousands of people across a rich variety of educational, organizational and governmental bodies. While there is a rich variety of topics he speaks about, there are central themes which run throughout the content, specifically leadership, innovation and communication. The Circle of Leadership, The Circle of Innovation and The ABC of Communication are performances, key to individual and organizational transformation.
