Michael Yo is an actor, TV host, Hollywood expert and stand-up comedian who has two Emmy nominations. He formerly co-hosted “The Insider” on CBS, and currently hosts the “Yo Show” on Yahoo! TV, which garners an average of 1.5 million views per episode. Yo also appears regularly on the comedy panel of E!’s Chelsea Lately, and as a guest host for The Talk on CBS. Yo continues to appear as a Pop Culture expert on HLN’s Showbiz Tonight hosted by A.J. Hammer.

In stand up, Yo came up under the wings of Chelsea Handler and Jo Koy and now headlines all over the country. He released his hilarious and heartfelt debut stand up comedy special, Blasian, in 2018. In acting, Yo recently reoccurred on “Kevin Can Wait,” shot a Damon Wayan Jr.’s pilot “Happy Together” for CBS, and was a principal in Facebook’s Facebook Watch sitcom series, “Starter Pack.” Yo got his start in radio and it continues to be his passion.

Yo is launched a new daily pop culture radio talk show, “The Michael Yo Show,” on the EW channel of SiriusXM and can also be heard daily on “Hits1 in Hollywood” on channel 2. Yo was previously seen covering celebrity news and gossip on “The Insider,” “Extra,” “E! News,” as well as guest co-hosting CBS’ “The Talk.” Yo continues to appear as a hot topic contributor on “The Wendy Williams Show.”

He previously worked as a correspondent for E! News, The Daily 10, Extra and coached Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian as radio DJs for their show Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami on E! His silver screen credits include Losing Control, Cookout 2 and Sophia Coppola’s The Bling Ring. Yo tours the country as a professional stand-up comedian, appearing at the Improv’s, Stand-Up Live, Palms Hotel, Laugh Factory, Comedy Store, and Comedy Juice among others.

Yo appeared on “The Joe Rogan Experience” in 2019 and 2020. He also appeared on season 15 of “America’s Got Talent.” Performing stand-up comedy, he received a yes from all 4 judges and advanced to the next round, but was eventually eliminated in the Quarter-Finals.
