Louise Borden is the award-winning children’s book author of more than 30 books. Before becoming an author, she worked as a teacher and was the co-owner of a bookstore in Cincinnati, The Bookshelf. Her books include, “Across the Blue Pacific: A World War II Story,” “Big Brothers Don’t Take Naps,” “His Name Was Raoul Wallenberg,” “The John Hancock Club,” “The A+ Custodian” and “Good Luck, Mrs. K!” Borden celebrates the 75th anniversary of Curious George by presenting her book “The Journey That Saved Curious George: The True Wartime Escape of Margret and H. A. Rey” , a large format book resembling a travel journal which includes full-color illustrations, original photos and actual ticket stubs. Borden lives with her family in Ohio.
