As a reporter for “Made In Hollywood”, Mar has interviewed many of Hollywood’s biggest stars, including Tom Hanks, Leonardo DiCaprio, Harrison Ford, Denzel Washington, Jerry Bruckheimer, James Cameron, Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones, Samuel L. Jackson, Adam Sandler, Jim Carrey, Nicolas Cage, Sandra Bullock, Cameron Diaz, Reese Witherspoon, Anne Hathaway, Mila Kunis, Natalie Portman, Hilary Swank, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Mark Wahlberg, Bradley Cooper and more!

Mar has traveled around the world to cover movie junkets and premieres for films such as “Rio” in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil; Letters to Juliet (2010) in Verona, Italy; and Turbo (2013) in Barcelona, Spain. She has also traveled the country reporting on many set visits to feature films and sitcoms. She frequently travels to London and New York City to cover all of the latest, biggest films.

In addition to her hosting and reporting duties, Mar often appears live on “KCAL 9 News” as a “Made In Hollywood” correspondent, to talk about the biggest movies being released to theaters that weekend. Mar’s segments are also available online at MovieTickets.com.

Mar has recently been seen co-hosting Mark at the Movies (2009) with Mark S. Allen. “Mark at the Movies” is a three-time Emmy award-winning weekly television series about wide-release movies and what’s new on DVD and Blu-ray, seen around the world in 38 million homes on Reelz channel.

Mar is an official member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association. The B.F.C.A. is the largest film critics organization in the United States and Canada, representing over 250 television, radio and online critics. Founded in 1995, it presents its Critics’ Choice Movie Awards each year to honor the finest achievements in filmmaking. A portion of the proceeds from the awards presentation ceremony at the Beverly Hills Hotel is donated to the Starlight Children’s Fund.

Mar started her career in show business when she was just four years old. As a professional child actress she booked national commercials, voice-over, print work, as well as acting roles, co-starring in episodes of hit television series such as ER (1994), The Wayans Bros. (1995), 7th Heaven (1996) and The Parent ‘Hood (1995) for which she received a Young Artist Award nomination.
