Kristin Clark Taylor is an award-winning author, veteran journalist, and nationally recognized communications and political strategist. Taylor was a member of USA Today’s original creation and launch team.

She remained with the newspaper for five years before accepting an offer to work for then-Vice President George H.W. Bush as a communications strategist, press officer and writer.

When Bush was elected president, he appointed Taylor White House Director of Media Relations. After serving the president for a few years, she left for a position in the private sector. Taylor recently received the 50th Anniversary Distinguished Alumni Award from Michigan State University College of Arts and Letters.

Her fourth book, “The Forever Box,” was published in 2011 and she is currently working on her next book.

Taylor lives in the Washington, D.C., area with her husband, Lonnie.
