Jake Knapp is a bestselling author, tech designer, and business consultant. Jake created the Design Sprint process, which he has run with over 100 startups including Nest, Slack, 23andMe, and Uber. Today, companies around the world, including the British Museum and the United Nations, use Design Sprint to solve big problems and test new ideas.

During his 10 years at Google and Google Ventures, Jake helped build products like Gmail, Google Hangouts, and Microsoft Encarta. He is the author of New York Times bestseller, “Sprint.”

Jake’s newest book is “Make Time: How to Focus on What Matters Every Day,” which he co-authored with John Zeratsky.

Jake has spoken about innovation at companies from LEGO to IDEO and at universities like Stanford, Berkeley, Columbia, and Harvard. His writing on startups and productivity has appeared in Fast Company, TechCrunch, Slate, and LifeHacker and Jake has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, Businessweek, and Marketplace.
