Over the past 36 years, Edward A. Turzanski has developed a multi-faceted career specializing in domestic and international security, higher education administration and instruction, health care trusteeship, government and civic relations, and media and political analysis.

He is the John Templeton Fellow of the Foreign Policy Research Institute, where he is also Co-Chairman of the Center for the Study of Terrorism. He is also Scholar-in-Residence at the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia (where he also serves on the Board of Directors), and a Senior Fellow with Franklin’s Opus at the American Institute for History Education.

Mr. Turzanski is a “Life Member” of the Association of Former Intelligence Officers, having served with the U.S. Intelligence Community during the Reagan Administration with postings throughout the Middle East Central Asia and Eastern Europe. During the George W. Bush Administration, he served on the U.S. Department of Justice’s Anti-Terrorism Advisory Committee (ATAC) for the Third District, and the Department of Homeland Security’s Port Security Committee for Philadelphia.

Mr. Turzanski served as Counsel to the President and on the faculty at La Salle University, and as a faculty member at Villanova University. He is a Life Member of the Naval War College Foundation, the National Association of Scholars, the National Rifle Association, and the Polish Police Association of Philadelphia.

He is a Member of the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition Advisory Board; a Richard M. Weaver Fellow of the Intercollegiate Studies Institute; Vice President for Membership and recipient of the 2013 President’s Award of the Union League of Philadelphia; Chairman of the Union League of Philadelphia Golf Club; Chairman of the Aria Health System and the Aria Health Foundation Boards of Directors; Member of the Thomas Jefferson Health System Board of Trustees (where he sits on Committees on Cyber-security, Academic Affairs, and Governance and Trusteeship); Member of the Board of Directors of “Let Freedom Ring;” and past-President of the National Aeronautic Space Training and Research Center (NASTAR) Educational Foundation.

His commentary on National Security, Intelligence, Political and Diplomatic affairs is regularly heard over more than four-dozen media outlets across North America, and on the BBC’s World Service, CBC and CTV News in Canada, and Fox News Channel and National Public Radio.

Mr. Turzanski is also the Founder and Principal of Resilience Consulting, LLC – a multi-faceted consultancy specializing in crisis management and communications; security and safety planning; national security, intelligence and political analysis; and governmental, civic and media relations.
