One of the world’s leading authorities on terrorism, Professor Alexander was the founder and editor of Terrorism: An International Journal and has published fifty books on the subject of international affairs, terrorism, and psychological warfare. He is the director of the Terrorism Studies Program at The George Washington University in Washington, DC.

Dr. Alexander is founder and editor-in-chief of four academic international journals: Terrorism; Minorities and Group Rights; and Political Communication and Persuasion, and The Partnership for Peace Review (Under the auspices of NATO).  Since 2010, he has served as Editor-in-Chief of Partnership for Peace Review, a new journal under the auspices of NATO.  He also has published over 100 books which have been translated into more than two dozen languages.
