Christopher M. Schroeder is a tech media entrepreneur, global venture capitalist, and CEO focused on Silicon Valley and international consumers, fin-tech, media companies, and advocating/mentoring global entrepreneurship. He co-founded Next Billion Ventures, a venture capital firm investing in entrepreneurs serving the next billion digital consumers and small businesses across global emerging markets, including Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and East Africa. Previously, he co-founded and sold HealthCentral.com, and was CEO of washingtonpost.com. He has written for The Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, and Fortune, among others, and authored the best selling book, Startup Rising: The Entrepreneurial Revolution Remaking the Middle East.

At his speaking engagements, Christopher is an experienced speaker and moderator. Relying on his years of insight and experience in the tech and investment industries, Christopher offers wisdom and an insider’s view into entrepreneurship, innovation, and global economies.
