Charles Holt is a native of Nashville, TN and a graduate of Rhodes College. Charles is a gifted Broadway actor and dynamic speaker. He inspires audiences around the world including TED talks, Rikers Island Correction Facility, and The Boys and Girls Club.
He’s starred in some of the most celebrated shows in American Theatre: Smokey Joe’s Café, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Rocky Horror Show (Europe), and The Lion King. Charles is a renowned vocalist and recording artist. He has authored two books. His first, Intuitive Rebel, chronicles his journey from small town Tennessee, to the bright lights of Broadway, to a path of spiritual awakening and self-discovery.
His second book, Between Me and Dad, recollects a painful, yet revealing passage of Charles’ difficult relationship with his father that was halted by a courageous leap into forgiveness. Charles is the founder and creator of The Open Frames Project, a non-profit organization that is innovatively designed in training youth, young adults, and adults in the course of emotional literacy and its importance in learning to navigate the challenges of tough life experiences, problematic encounters, and difficult relationships.
The process and the curriculum are invitations to becoming participants in shifting the likelihood of unfulfilling life trajectories while putting into practice affirming techniques and principles that support increased self-awareness, emotion and feeling recognition and understanding, conflict resolution, social intelligence and accountability, building healthy relationships, and self-liberation.
Charles brings you the seldom recognized gift of humanity, reminding you of your own forgiving spirit. With every opportunity to step further into our greater good and life-journey is the likelihood that something from our past will resurface.
In most cases, these events and memories have been hanging around in our minds for long periods of time… years even. It is inevitable, however, that these dangling participles make their way into our field of vision. They should not, by any stretch of the imagination, be the genesis of our undoing. In fact, these seemingly, unwarranted mental and emotional intruders rise to the occasion in our mind to create an impulse for us to extract more of our true essence and character.
Heavily laced within these somewhat vintage frames are principles that point us in the direction of becoming honest with our heart of reconciliation and our forgiving selves.
Letting go of pain and hurt is noteworthy. And learning the practice to put these principles into action may be elusive and quite slippery. But the footing gained in our journey on the road to our personal best is made clearer in the process. Let this guide you throughout your healing process…

Life has an interesting way of giving us keys to uncovering our divine direction and life purpose. The wide spectrum of experiences – the good, the not so good, and the awful – create paths to our self –discovery. In our willingness to dig deeper into the well of understanding ourselves, and our inner wisdom, we create a unique platform, thus giving us permission to activate and release our highest and best for the greater good wherever we are.
