Record-breaking NFL quarterback, award-winning philanthropist, and entrepreneur Cam Newton has made history on the field as well as a major impact in the world with his philanthropic work. Among numerous other records, Newton is the first NFL player in 60 years to win the Heisman Trophy, a national championship, and be the No. 1 overall draft pick in the same academic year. He was awarded the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, and led the Carolina Panthers to their second Super Bowl appearance. The former NFL MVP is also known as a visionary in the fashion space, and has expanded his portfolio to include luxury travel gear with Vinta, a partnership with Belk on his clothing line MADE, a cigar bar and dinner club called Fellaship, Daring Foods plant-based alternatives, and an investment in the media company Overtime. An engaging interviewer, Newton hosts Funky Fridays on his YouTube channel – which boasts over 566K subscribers – delving into entrepreneurship, family, sports legacies, and more.

Newton’s impact extends beyond football, and he won the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award – which is given to the player who demonstrates excellence on the field and in his community – and the subsequent charity challenge, a $25K contribution by Nationwide to his charity of choice. He has received the Order of the Long Leaf Pine and the Order of the Palmetto, the highest awards given by the governors of the Carolinas, for his incredible contributions as a philanthropic leader in the community, including $5M in donations through The Cam Newton Foundation. In motivating and memorable conversations, Newton shares insights from his NFL career, his strategies for values-aligned entrepreneurship, and how to use your platform to make a difference.
