Full Bio

Leake began honing his craft at a very early age. He chose the written word as his form of expression and it has served him well. A man of word and spirit, Leake founded  Called To Move, an artist collective while he was still in college. The group became a safe space for artists to share their gifts and motivate others. From an idea to a national initiative, CTM, a non-profit, inspires audiences through poetry and performance across the country.

Leake has traveled from Los Angeles to New York and everywhere in between performing his pieces, leading spoken word poetry workshops, and keynote speaking. He has performed at conferences, universities, and theatres nationwide – leaving audiences speechless captured by his beautiful words.

In 2016, he released a debut album entitled,  In My Thoughts, bearing his soul and sharing his heart. The album is a testament Leake’s story which began in Stockton, California’s south side. He credits a strong home life, and divine intervention for bringing him through tragic loss, taking him from the neighborhood into the classroom and ultimately to the stage of America’s Got Talent

We know Brandon Leake’s poetic journey has just begun.
