Comedian Andrew Kennedy was born in Bogota, Colombia. His mother is a short Colombian woman, his father an absent minded (but very intelligent) Englishman. Comedian Andrew Kennedy spent most of his childhood moving around the world and by the time comedian Andrew Kennedy was thirteen had lived in seven countries, spanning three continents. Although the reason has never been fully disclosed, the Kennedy’s were obviously “fleeing” in an apparent search for sanctuary (which they finally found in a very exclusive New England town).
One fun Kennedy family tradition was the ritual ‘Cleansing’ of personal items (or as it was more commonly referred to: ‘Tag Sale of Tears’) where all the most revered possessions (like GI Joe Action Figures, Tonka Trucks, Big Wheels and such…) would be sold at a profit, before moving to another country. This of course leading to deep-rooted abandonment issues (not from the Kennedy boys as much as their toys).
The Kennedy boys (of which there are three) couldn’t look more different. It is apparent that the coupling of two people of such different ethnic backgrounds, can produce in fact…just about anything. So different are the boys that when you view a family portrait; it looks like ‘people just Gathered…’ This does not stop the deep-seeded affection which has blossomed through the years, nor has it prevented the Kennedy’s from developing strong familial traditions during the course of re-settling.
Comedian Andrew Kennedy lives with his wife and two young sons in their Connecticut home. The house is about an hour from New York City (barring any nasty ‘deer’ incident) where comedian Andrew Kennedy currently performs weekly as a headliner at all the major clubs.
Comedian Andrew Kennedy just returned from touring in Holland (wonderful grasp of the english language there…the US should take note) and will appear in Theaters later this summer in a movie titled “Manhattan Comedy Night”. comedian Andrew Kennedy is the headliner in this film which follows five New York comics through their performances in a New Jersey theater ( the comics are from New York, the theater is in Morristown, NJ…) comedian Andrew Kennedy can also can be seen on Comedy Central, BET, Univision and an assortment of independent films which will undoubtedly come back to haunt him.
