Alex Bauer a rejoint IBM en juillet 2021 pour piloter le lancement de la nouvelle entité IBM Consulting en France. Pour ce faire, il met au profit de cette nouvelle aventure entrepreneuriale ses près de 30 d’expérience en conseil, à différents niveaux de responsabilité chez Accenture. Il a débuté sa carrière à des fonctions de consultant en ITet en Stratégie, avant de l’orienter Go To Market. Il y a construit des partenariats d’envergure avec des clients internationaux avant de diriger des BU pour les activités Retail, Consumer, Auto et Life sciences.Passionné depuis toujours par l’entreprenariat sous toutes ses formes, il s’est donné pour mission de faired’IBM Consulting un leader sur le marché français. Il compte s’appuyer pour cela sur l’ADN d’IBM profondément ancré dans l’innovation et la R&D depuis plus de 100 ans, pour faire d’IBM Consulting l’acteur qui accompagne ses clients pour créer des modèles économiques durables, en s’appuyant sur des solutions innovantes agnostiques et ouvertes intégrant, en fonction des besoins, les technologies de pointe les plus pertinentes telles que l’IA, le Quantique ou encore l’Hybrid Cloud.Pour lui, la mise en œuvre des environnements humains et technologiques d’IBM, à la fois performants et durables, permettra d’avoir un impact positif sur le monde et de répondre aux défis environnementaux et sociétaux auxquels les entreprises doivent prendre part.
