Trendwatcher, futurist and international keynote speaker Richard van Hooijdonk takes you to an inspiring future that will dramatically change the way we live, work and do business. Richard investigates, with his international research team trends like robotics, drone technology, autonomous transport systems, Internet of Things, virtual reality, biotech, nanotech, neurotech, blockchain, 3D and 4D printing and of course augmented and virtual reality and their impact on various industries. Findings are published weekly in the form of compelling articles, e-books and white papers.

Richard Hooijdonk is living the future. He has an RFID chip in his hand that opens the door to his house and starts his car. The technology is not quite there yet, but in half a year, he will also have a chip to pay with. As a futurist, he is following developments closely, and he prefers entering the future before everyone else. He calls on companies to change and to prepare for the future, but how to do that?

Richard van Hooijdonk started his career as marketing director at banks, publishing companies and technology companies where he held strategic advisory positions, was part of management teams and sat on various boards of directors. Since 2007, he has been an inspirational speaker on various topics for companies and organizations such as NATO, European Commission, Sony, PWC, Oracle, ING, Rabobank and Google.

Last year, Richard van Hooijdonk was voted most sought-after keynote speaker in the Netherlands. His inspiration sessions have been attended by over 420,000 people. Last year he was able to inspire people around the world especially in the UK, India, Germany, Hungary, France, Portugal, Italy, Poland, Sweden, Austria, Spain and Belgium.
